Birds of a Feather SIGGRAPH 2026
Following the success of the first two BoFs at SIGGRAPH 2024 and 2025, we hope to once again create a space for researchers who want to think about the broader impacts of our research and how to collectively work towards a more sustainable future.
The BoF this year will focus on inspiring initiatives and future directions. We’ll open with a short presentation highlighting existing efforts in the space, including papers and research directions, local and regional conferences, and tools and metrics for measuring energy consumption. Then, we’ll move into an open discussion on what future initiatives the community could take on. There is no knowledge pre-requisite to participate, everyone with an interest or curiosity on the topic is welcome.
